Dr. Bill Goldstein
Executive Medical Director of the Vein & Skin Care Institute
For over 13 years Dr. William S.Goldstein has been the St. Louis regions leader in the specialized treatment of varicose and spider veins. His vast experience in sclerotherapy, laser treatments and the new, revolutionary Radio Frequency Closure® procedure makes him the premier physician in the bi-state area for any venous problem. The comprehensive treatment of veins is not just a sideline for Dr. Goldstein, it is his full-time specialty (phlebology). Dr. Goldstein is a physician committed to delivering state-of-the-art treatments in a caring, compassionate manner. He fosters professional relationships with his patients by customizing their care according to their needs.
Dr. Goldstein is also the first physician to the area to introduce the use of medical lasers in tattoo removal, laser hair removal and the youth-rejuvenating Foto-Facial" procedure. He has established an extensive multi-laser department at the Vein & Skin Care Institute.
A St. Louis native, he received his BA in Biology from Washington University in 1977. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Missouri in 1981, followed by a surgical internship at Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. His past associations include extensive training and partnership with the world-renown phlebologist Dr. Lawrence Tretbar at the Vein Clinic of Kansas City. He also practiced at the Vein Center in St. Louis, Mo. for over 4 years. Dr. Goldstein remains an active member of the American College of Phlebology and attends national seminars regularly to keep his knowledge current. He also has attended many laser training courses.
Most of all, Dr. Goldstein has been a visionary and leader in the delivery of phlebologic and skin deep medical and medical spa type care. His unique style is best defined by his enthusiasm and true compassion.

Donna Scherzer
Donna Scherzer received her nursing degree at Barnes Hospital School of Nursing in St. Louis, MO in 1975. She worked at St. Lukes Hospital in the surgery division for 15 years. She then trained to become a registered vascular technologist at St. Luke's and received her R.V.T. license in 1991.
In 2000 Donna became employed by the Vein and Skin Care Institute and assists Dr. Goldstein with the radio frequency closure procedure, does vascular testing and became a certified laser technician. She now adds FotoFacial, tattoo removal and laser hair removal to her list of skills.

Babette Meiner
Babette earned her B.S.N. at Southern Illinois University in 1975. She began her career as a staff nurse at St. Mary's Health Center in surgical subspecialties. Pursuing a teaching career led her to an instructor position at Barnes Hospital School of Nursing. Her next position was a patient aid staff educator concentrating on diabetic, ostomy, and cardiac rehab instructor. She took an extended break to raise her two sons. She is currently doing laser hair removal, tattoo removal and Foto Facial" at the Vein and Skin Care Institute.

Heather Timmings
Heather is a licensed aesthetician in Missouri. She is qualified to do chemical peels and microdermabrasion. She has been studying the art and science of aesthetics for the past two years. She is always keeping up to date with new procedures. Heather's services include skin consultation, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, facials and waxing.

Mary Anne Nieders
Mary Anne is licensed in Missouri in cosmetology, aesthetics, and permanent cosmetics (tattooing). Her certification is in Advanced Paramedical Esthetics, Mirodermabrasion, Advanced Chemical Peeling, Advanced Permanent Cosmetics, and Camouflage. She has over 20 years experience as a skin care professional and the past 11 years in the Medical field.
